Tis the Season.

This was just sent over from the nice ladies at King Arthur Flour.  It is the second cover I've produced for them, you can see the first one HERE.  A big thanks again to Ruth P. for making it all happen and I can say that those apples tasted as good as they looked.

Quick Hit from Jay Peak.

There is a new ski/mountain lifestyle magazine being published titled Mountain Sports and Living. Inside is a cool article on the two Vermonters who started the online store backcountry.com. The magazine is also sporting a great cover image by Henry Georgi. Pick up a copy if you see one.

And while you are flipping through the pages check out the Jay Peak write-up in the Resort Guide section.(p.81) You can see an oldie but goodie I shot of Brian Keet.

More New Work.

As well as shooting for Killington this past fall I've been finding some time to shoot some personal stuff. Here are four images I shot last month on the Black and Ottaquechee Rivers. A big thanks to Renee who was nice enough to put on the waders and look all serious.

Telluride, Hand Stuffed Olives and the New Sheridan Hotel.

Last winter while traveling around southern Colorado with writer Mike Horn we crashed a night in Telluride. We had the opportunity to spend that night in the freshly renovated New Sheridan Hotel right on the main street of Telluride. This place was aces from the staff to the hand stuffed olives in my martini. Not to shabby for a couple of snowboard bums.

Beetle Kill.

The Pine Beetle. This little bugger has caused more devastation to the forests of Colorado's front range than I could ever had imagined. Last winter while in Colorado, Mike Horn and I took a little detour from our travels and toured the devastation. Whole mountainsides that were once green with pine are now a red/brown and just waiting for a fire. Check out this months Backcountry Magazine and read the article for a more in depth look at the Pine Beetle with a little skiing/snowboarding thrown in for fun.

Here are a few tears.
