After just a horrible March with NO measurable snow and the past few days of torrential flood causing rains I am officially calling it a winter here in Vermont. With what looks like my last on snow shoot Friday and the golf course opening Saturday I think I can safely put away the skis and boots. That said my friends out west are having another banger late season push. The Cottonwood Canyons are calling for 24"-36" today and tomorrow, should be fun for them.
I pulled this shot from the archives to remind myself that snow can get this deep.
Location: Solitude, Utah. Skier: Guy Morneault.
